Ash. Breakdance and acro instructor at Resonate Dance Company
Ash

Break Dance & Acro Instructor

Ash, also known as "The ResonApe," is an accomplished breakdancer and acrobatics instructor with a unique approach that blends martial arts and dance. He discovered his passion for breakdancing at the age of 16, building on a foundation of taekwondo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, which he began training in at the age of 7. Growing up in diverse international settings, Ash was exposed to a variety of breakdance styles, shaping his distinct, versatile approach.

Ash emphasizes the importance of balance—both in life and dance. He believes that combining hard work with play maximizes growth, and that exploring different disciplines like martial arts and gymnastics enhances one’s dance specialty. His classes at Resonate Dance Company are driven by this philosophy, encouraging dancers to develop strength, creativity, and resilience.

When he's not teaching or perfecting his moves, Ash enjoys a good medium-rare steak, embodying his grounded yet vibrant personality.
